Imagine yourself waking up in your private eco bungalow overlooking the ocean and jungle, nourishing your body with mangoes, pineapples, coconuts and papayas straight from the trees, connecting to your body through heated vinyasa yoga and diving deep in some restorative classes.

And it doesn't end there. Experience the beauty of Samaná by hiking through the lush jungle, soaking up the sun at a secret paradise beach only reached by boat and as a highlight get close up to the gentle giants of the sea..... the amazing and peaceful humpback whales!

Carina Bogner

Carina has graduated as a Vinyasa Flow teacher in Ibiza in 2013 after having yoga in her life since the age of 16. Ever since then she has been teaching, sharing, growing and learning.

She takes her inspiration from practices of Yin Yoga, Kundalini Yoga and dance. Recently Carina has undertaken a shamanic course for the well-being of women and the connection back to their root.

Her work is moving more and more towards empowering women (and men!) from all over the world to release the old and to live to their highest potential.  

Eco Bungalows

Beachy-chic bungalows overlooking Samana Bay.


High up in the hills of Samana Bay are 13 eco bungalows with spectacular ocean views; each bungalow has a Double bed, private bathroom, fan and protective sliding doors. Half the bungalows have a private terrace attached, whilst others have a panoramic window that can be fully opened.

The communal space consists of an infinity pool, lounge area, big dining space with WiFi, and gardens. The tranquility and natural surroundings of the resort will soothe your body, mind and spirit.

The Plan

This is a guide to your week with us...

Day 1

Pick up at 9am from Santo Domingo Old Town to drive to Samana as a group. After you arrive, you'll refresh yourself with a welcome drink at the resort and have some time to check into your bungalow. Early evening you'll participate in an opening circle and a grounding yoga class before winding down the day with your first group dinner.

Day 2

Tea will be served before your morning meditation and Vinyasa yoga class. Then, after a delightful and hearty breakfast, you can get your welcome massage, relax by the pool, read, sunbathe, or whatever else you'd like. Fuel up a light lunch before heading to your restorative Yin yoga class. End the day with a hearty and wholesome group dinner.

Day 3

Take you morning tea and head to your morning meditation and Vinyasa yoga class, followed by a delicious breakfast. Then, you'll head out for an adventure hike through the jungle to a secret paradise, where you'll eat fresh coconuts and packed snacks upon arrival. After enjoying some time at the beach we will head back to the resort for a restorative yoga session on the deck and wholesome and nutritious dinner. 

Day 4

Enjoy your morning tea in silence before the morning Vinyasa yoga and meditation class. We will enjoy breakfast and take the time after to chill, have massages, pool time, optional trip to the local beach or nap. A light lunch will be served in the community space and the afternoon is free for you to do what you'd like. A slow flow in the evening and chanting of sacred mantras will set us up for a relaxed evening with dinner under the stars.

Day 5

Early start. Take your tea and join the sunrise meditation and breath work. After early breakfast we will depart for the beach where a boat awaits us to go whale watching. 

After a couple of hours on the ocean getting close up to the gentle giants we will dock at a secret beach, only reachable by boat where we will enjoy lunch. After a break and relaxing at this beautiful we will hike to "Boca del Diablo" an amazing rock formation from where we will get picked up to head back to the resort. 

Restorative stretches and legs up the wall will refresh your tired legs and we nourish with a group dinner under the stars.

Day 6

Morning tea. Meditation and vinyasa yoga class. After breakfast we will enjoy and integration day at the resort, by the infinity pool, optional trip to the local beach for some pina coladas :-)

Lunch and more free time to just be and chill out. 

Final evening yoga class and closing ceremony and dinner.

Day 7

You will enjoy a cosy breakfast with the group in the morning.  Then, you'll check out and depart for Santo Domingo/airport.
