About this Brand
Most contemporary yoga is an active practice in which you move from pose to pose, building heat and increasing your strength and flexibility in equal measure. Restorative yoga is something completely different. It’s about slowing down and opening the body through passive stretching. Holding each carefully selected posture for longer helps relax the muscles deeply & restore the free flow of breath calmly. Restorative classes are very mellow, making them a good complement to more active practices, the hectic pace of every day life and an excellent antidote to stress.
Modern yoga practitioners have ancient tools at their fingertips to approach living to the fullest, optimising the mind and body through peak experiences in all sensory dimensions.
Here every guest finds their own source of physical and spiritual relaxation. Some on the yoga mat, others on the massage table and for most on the south facing terrace gazing at the vast spread of nature below.
Disconnect from your digital world to listen more deeply to life, connect with others on the retreat and live in the present moment. Access to wifi is possible in guest rooms. On Day 5 we practice 1/2 day silence.
