As a physics graduate and trained actress, making the transition to full time yoga teacher wasn't the obvious choice for Katarina. However, after discovering the yang style of yoga in London and then traveling to India to explore Sivananda yoga, she realised what an integral part of her physical and mental wellbeing it had become. She then returned to India a year later to complete her 200hr Yoga Teacher Training in Ashtanga and Ashtanga Vinyasa (Rocket) with The Yoga People.
The P l a n
You'll start the day with a 75-minute Dynamic Vinyasa class based on the element specific to that day, working closely to the chakra and anatomy linked to that element. Then, you'll enjoy a delicious and wholesome breakfast before having the day free to relax on the beach, take a surf class (free shuttles available), or just kick back with a good book in a hammock.
After a day of sun and surf, you'll regroup for a 60-minute Yin yoga with pranayama and/or mediation relating to the element and anatomy worked in the morning session. Then, you'll have some time off before ending the day with a hearty plant-based dinner.
