Two weeks of exploring, trekking and thrilling rafting rides of Nepal's famous white water rivers.


Test your best moves and brave the rapids of some of Nepal's best white waters on this two-week adventure for thrill-seekers. Expect heart pounding action on most days, with the opportunity to pause, reflect and take in the stunning Himalayan landscape you'll cut through on your raft.

Camp on picturesque river beaches and enjoy dinner around a roaring fire, be welcomed into local village homes and explore the streets of Nepal's most iconic settlements.

Between rafting and kayaking Nepal's most notorious white water spots, you'll explore the temples of Kathmandu and encounter monks that live in some of the remotest spots on earth along with the breath-taking Annapurna sunrise.

The Plan

    On arrival

    Arrive at Kathmandu Airport, where you'll be greeted and taken to your hotel for a welcome meal with your fellow rafters.

    Get a feel for the area and explore the Kathmandu Valley with visits to city squares, magnificent temples, and take in outstanding panoramic views of mountains and cityscapes.

    Rise first thing to leave for river Trisuli. Once there, you'll get straight to rafting followed by a picnic lunch on a beautiful beach where you'll get to take in your new surroundings. After lunch, there's 8 main rapids to tackle including Ladies Delight, Upset, and Surprise. You'll finish the day back at your campsite, where you can stargaze as you cozy up with a hot chocolate to toast the day's action.

    Wake up and refuel before the Marshyangdi - one of the most technical and extreme rapids of the trip. Some of the most notable rapids are Mama’s Big Butt, Good Morning, and Shark’s Tooth. After a day of action conquering the white waters, head back to camp for a hearty feast before bed.

    Today's another intense day of white water action leading into a continuous set of rapids right after breakfast. Enjoy lunch by the river then continue downriver to the finishing point of the Marshyangdi. Rest up on the drive out to Pokhara, where you'll have dinner at a local restaurant and sleep in a hotel.

    Starting early in the morning you'll drive through the Himalayan foothills out to the starting point of the Kali Gandaki for some of the best rapids you'll ever experience - Big Brother and Little Bother, quickly followed by Rafter's Refund. Spend the night on a river beach in a stunning gorge lit by the light of a fire.

    After breakfast you'll dip straight into a class 4 rapid which sets the pace for the day to come. Take your lunch break on a sandy beach to rest and refuel for the afternoon then camp on a river beach under the light of the stars once darkness descends.

    Your final day on the river is much more leisurely. Spend the morning playing on some waves before the water flattens out as you approach the dam. On this stretch, you can kayak, swim or learn to guide the raft. After lunch you'll head to Pokhara where you'll spend the night in a hotel and eat out.

    Only 30 minutes from Pokhara, the Upper Seti will be the spot for you thrilling half day of rafting a rush of continuous rapids. After lunch, you'll get some well-deserved rest at the beautiful city of Pokhara; Take a walk along the World Peace Trail along the lake front, explore the copious amount of gift shops, or simply sleep - the time is all yours.

    Rest up in the morning with some free time to sleep in or explore lakeside. Make sure you are back at the hotel for 11am when we set off through the Himalayan foothills to Sirubari. The drive takes about 4 hours through stunning scenery that requires 4x4 for certain sections. Upon arrival, you will be given a grand welcoming by our Nepalese hosts before being shown to our home-stays. Enjoy the evening by walking around the village, interacting with the villagers, or having a beer at the local shop.

    We will spend the day exploring the local area. Hike to the top of a mountain to see the panoramic views of the Annapurna Mountains and visit the Yogies, monks that have lived on top of the mountain. We will return to wash, rest up, and get ready for the main event - the Cultural Evening - where the whole village turns out to enjoy a night of singing and dancing.

    Say goodbye to your hosts and either 4x4 it or trek down to Pokhara past an incredible mountain ridge and breath-taking scenery. You'll drive the rest of the way to Pokhara before chilling at the hotel and heading out for dinner.

    Wake in the dark to be driven up to the top of Sarangkot. Here we wait to marvel at the stunning Annapurna Sunrise. The mountains are etched into the sky before being blasted into colour as the sun starts to rise. We'll hike down to Lakeside for breakfast. The day will be spent touring round Pokhara. Visiting the World Peace Pagoda, padding across Fewa Lake, and visiting temples. Have some free time in the evening to go shopping, enjoy a Spa, or explore Lakeside.

    Enjoy your final brekkie in Pokhara before driving back to Kathmandu. The drive takes all day (approx. 9am - 4pm). You'll stop for lunch and leg-stretching breaks along the way but today's highlight is your farewell feast.

    On departure

    Depending the time of your flight, you might just have moment to spare for wandering the streets of Thamel before you wave goodbye to your Nepal adventure.
