Head into the hills and on up to the mountains on a three day trek that will take you past verdant valleys and Berber villages where you'll stay in the rustic homes of the people that have long inhabited the fertile land on the mountainside.
Push yourself to new heights as you make your way through dense pine forests to the Oukaimden pass, famous for its pre-historic carvings that have long been hidden under the snowy peaks of the Atlas Mountains.

The P l a n
Your transfer will pick you up from Marrakech at 08:30 before heading to the village of Imi Oughlad where you'll meet your hardy mules and off-load equipment. The 4 hour hike begins, with a river crossing to Tizi El bour, with beautiful views, before lunch at the pretty Berber village of Imesker. Next up are the villages Tinoughar and Gliz, where you'll be welcomed into a Berber family home for the night.
The 6 hour hike day includes the highlight of the trip, the Oukaimden pass, where you'll find pre-historic rock carvings and stupendous views of the high Atlas. You'll climb even higher to 2954 metres at Tizi N'addi before descending through the valley of tachdirt, ending at a cozy guesthouse where you can rest up for the night.
This 5 hour hike day will take you through the verdant valley of Imnane as you pass by picturesque Berber villages. It's here you reach a peak with panoramic views and you can look back over the Imnane valley pass you traversed earlier. On to Tizi N'Tamatert where you can enjoy lunch and a breather, before heading back to Imlil village to wait for your transfer back to Marrakech.
