Day by day
From Bled, head into Triglav National Park and begin your ascent of the Julian Alps. Across six to eight hours of walking, you'll climb past rocky gorges and grassy slopes, before arriving at the traditional huts you'll be staying in.
Enjoy a hearty Slovenian meal of goulash – a tender stew cooked with vegetables and seasoned with paprika, before getting some well-earned sleep.
You'll journey to Mount Triglav's peak and find out just how much the silence thickens as you climb further from the world. Part of the route is done by via ferrata, which uses cables, ladders and bridges to blend hiking and rock climbing. Marvel at the summit's views before making your way back.
