Your driver will pick you up from Marrakech before heading to the villages at the foot of the Atlas mountains for a two hour circuit of the picturesque Berber villages starting at Imlim and traversing the lush Imnan Valley. Sip on local mint tea and home made bread before heading off with your mule at your side. Lunch will be in the shade of walnut trees at a Berber home by the river and your home for the evening will be a traditional Berber House or cozy mountain refuge.
Heading off early in the morning, your driver will take you from Imlil through awe-inspiring valleys and across the High Atlas mountains, giving you plenty of option to catch sight of snow capped peaks. Lunch will be at the mountain village of Ait Ben Haddou, where you can roam the pretty Kasbahs before heading off through the lush Draa Valley and then to one of Morocco's largest palm groves in Zagora. It's here that your trusty camel steed will be waiting to take you to your authentic nomad camp, nestled into a natural oasis as the sun sets over the deep red landscape.
Wake up bright and early to see the sun rise majestically over the dunes at Zagora and eat breakfast like a nomad in the bivouac. Your camels will be waiting to take you back through the oasis to your driver. Your next stop is the gateway to the Sahara, the ancient red city of Ouarzazate, where you can pause for lunch and a stroll around the impressive kasbah before driving back to Marrakech through the snow dusted peaks of the High Atlas Mountains.
